ACers? How do you decide what to write about on Associated Content?

Write about what you know. Browse through the articles on the site and get an idea for what kind of topics are out there, that will give you ideas of your own. Once you get an idea you can do a search for it to see if it's already been covered before (you'll get higher offers for things that are more unique). I've seen people write on attractions in their local area, tips for surviving the weather, child rearing and relationship issues, crafts projects, reviews of books, CDs, and movies, etc.

Keep an eye on your messages from them, they give you ideas of what they're looking for. Other than that, write on something that interests you. Have you had experience with a health problem? Do you have a hobby? Know anything about the problems facing senior citizens? Politics? Nutrition? Just about anything goes.

I would suggest poetry to start then work up to short stories.

I am having the same problem, i have been a member for a while and i just last week wrote one thing, i do find it hard to think of things to write about.

You know I was wondering the same thing. I am a member but have yet to write anything. I am still trying to figure out how things work over there.
