lonely??

Sometimes when we feel lonely, it isn't because we are really lonely, but it is because we feel like nobody cares about us. If we know that there is even one person, who truly cares what happens to us, we usually don't feel lonely even if we are alone. It doesn't have to be an adult. Sometimes a grandchild who loves you, or a child you are volunteering to help with reading at a local school and whose little face breaks out with a smile when you arrive can assure you that someone cares about you. Then, when we are feeling lonely, we just need to think about that person or several persons who care about us and are happy to see us and the feeling of loneliness will fly away.

I'm not, but I just got engaged. It took me five years to have my fiance pop the question, before that I always kept my family close to me, so I try not to be as lonely as some. My fiance works for the power company so every now and then he has to go on long trips, I do get lonely then.
