navel piercing

I have got my belly button pierced, and it did not hurt at all. I went into this room, the lady that did it layed me down on the bed, she cleaned around the area first, put the clamp on it, and told me to breathe deeply, I felt a little pinch figuring it was the clampers, she said that I was ready to go...it took maybe 1 minute to do, I have had it for 4 years now and llve it.

i have the top and bottom of my belly button done. the top didn't hurt much. just a pinch. the bottom hurt but that's more cartlidge than skin. nothing to be afraid of. good luck and hope you get it done. it just pinches for a second.

Whats your threshold of pain like? I'd say mine's a medium and it didn't really hurt that bad. I got 'shocked' not by the pain but by the cold steel poking through my skin. The pain comes the day after when it starts to swell. Take good care of the wound and you'll be fine.
