I have issues with letting my little girl sitting in her vibrating chair and entertaining herself. I know she needs to have some alone time but I just don't want to put her down (she is only two months)I just love her love much! :D Gosh I already have bad separation anxiety. What do you ladies with young babies do when it is time for alone time and you don't wanna let go?

I always picked up the house real quick and kept myself busy with chores if my son was entertaining himself, or (gasp) shower lol, that's hard to do when you've got a newborn! Otherwise I'd never get anything done, my hubby was always gone because he was in the military!

Just take it slowly and you'll get used to it. YOU need "alone time" more than she does right now. Use the time when she's quiet to get things done or do something for yourself. When you have a new baby it's very easy to get so focused on her that you forget about your own needs. Taking care of yourself helps make you a better mom and also helps get through those times when your baby isn't so happy.

Babies need lots of touch for the first several months of their lives. The only times I put my son down until recently (he's 4.5 mos) I was right there with him with my hand on him or close to him (me or my husband, at least). The world is huge to these little ones, and they need help meeting it all.
She'll have plenty of alone time as she grows up, right now she needs you to be with her. You should look into babywearing. Check out www.nino.org (stand for Nine In Nine Out, on the premise that baby is in you for nine mos and should be as close out of you for at least that) www.attachedtobaby.com and www.thebabywearer.com
Congratulations on your sweetheart!
