A day for relationships. For people in love, for those that have a significant other to share it with.
Do you like Valentine's? I do.
Even if I'm alone. I'm not this year, but for the past few days it has been that way and I still like it. Maybe I'm a hopeless romantic like a few other people out their in the world, but who knows?
I love the thought of surprising someone you love with something that they will love. That is the point of the day after all, to make the one you love feel special.
I like it, I don't care. And I'm too positive in life to feel like it could get me down to be alone on this day. No matter what, even if my friends have someone to share it with, I am happy for them because they are happy, and that makes me happy.
Everyone should enjoy this day because it is not just about that, it's about rejoice for life, it's about being able to love. Not a person, but everything, and to be thankful for everything that is happening in your life that makes you happy.
I think initially it's a day about being HAPPY. About going out and making someone else's day. Isn't that what LIFE should be about? Instead of spending one day thinking about what's awesome there should be 365 days of everyone being thankful for living, for this life, for this one moment whether it be 18 years of 100 years, that they are alive and able to be with their family, friends, and loved ones.
I love Valentine's. I love every holiday though, what is your view on Valentine's?

Deep inside me, I never pay respects to valentine's day. Now, I know better. This whole thing is actually a pagan ritual where during this day, a group of people opts to have a party throwing cares to the wind for the moment.
For me, I would rather be showered with love and care each day, be remembered each day; rather than consider me special on the 14th of February and be regarded as just like the ordinary woman roaming around this world on other days.

Yes, but that's the great thing of it occuring once a year! It's a CHANGE from the normal, and if you are a constantly changing person, then it's an even bigger reminder that, hey, this is one time of the year, of one year that I will be here, another year that I have lived my life and made my own decisons.

I'm not really big on Valentine's. As far as going out to celebrate it that is, since most of the restaurants are packed for that particular night and you'll have trouble if you hadn't put on a recervation.. I prefer spending it indoors with loved-ones. Have a quiet evening with them, maybe have a movie marathon. Still, every valentine's is memorable to me in their own way. Have a memorable Valentine's!

I love valentine's day. It's just so sad that I don't have a Valentine this year. I haven't had a real Valentine since 2003 but at least Ihad a boyfriend. Now I have neither. I am a little sad but at the end of the day I know I still have myself as my Valentine. Nobody can be a better valentine.
