what do you write?

I write articles, poetry and children's books. And if writing.com is anything like poetry.com, I wouldn't recommend it.

I have not yet added anything to my portfolio on writing.com, it is a very deverse site with lots of things that you can do on it. I suggest checking it out, there are lots of fun things you can do there besides write, like making your own crosswords or word searches and then people can play them. From what I have figured out, it is not a paid site, it is a place to build a portfolio and then let people view your work, I have only been there for like a week, so there could be pay involved, but not from what I understand so far.

I write poems and I joined a similar thing years ago , they published my poems but only 1 per book and I bought 3 books ie 3 poems published but then realised that's how they were doing it , everyone with a poem bought a book , I stopped it after a while I couldn't afford it , xx

I have published more than 10 poems at poetry.com I did not win in any contest but I was offered to buy a book where my poems are. I have been to writing.com but it's not for me because I'm very busy with my translation work. I am a Christian, a child of God, baptized into Christ on October 1, 1989 and I belong to the Church of Christ founded and headed by Christ as shown in Acts Chapter 2. I am given the gift of knowledge and understanding Bible Greek and I translate the Word of God from Greek to English PLAINLY - Greek word into its English equivalent with additional words for grammar purposes written in italics so that readers may delete them as the wish. Well everytime I have an idea about something, I write them down on a piece of paper and start thinking about the main points of each one. Start writing about what made me think about them and do a little research for them just to make them look a bit better.

I write about personal experience. I write on associatedcontent.com They don't pay a whole lot but it helps build your portfolio and you can earn a few extra dollars here and there. They pay via paypal and usually take 5-10 business days to get back to you on your submission.

well only starting, i write for a newslink of my profession... before i used to write for our college news mag but never really had a very good exposure there. i really want to grow in this field. i also write things i experienced sometimes in scratch papers but never really save them :) it just a form of stress releaser for me... anyone? pls give me tips on how to improve, besides saying practice practice practice :) heheh thanks
