surgical menopause

I am looking for anyone else that is going through or has gone through surgical menopause.. In september I had to have a hysteroctomy due to several complications. I am doing fairly well considering I am not on any medication except for bladder control. i do get hot sweats often. what else should i be expecting. they stated in a year the left(only overy would die off in a year) and then what? I feel like less of a woman now because of the surgery. what should i be expecting?
