I do some writing over at Helium.com , and I just wrote down my views on Valentine's Day.
" I live in Norway. Here in Norway we had no tradition of celebrating Valentine's Day until a couple of years ago. "

hello friend, i think it can be alittle too much sometime, speicaly for people who are single, kinda make the left out if you are single, other wise it not too bad if you have someone speical to share with, dinner and flowers and movie can get expensive at one night, but hey have a happy valentine's day

I agree that it is a holiday made by chocolate and card companies, but none the less I think it is here to stay.
I also am single, but don't look on Valentines in a bad way, I think it's a great day to show the people you love how much you love them...
I posted about it on my blog this morning if you feel like checking it out... http://homewithheather.com/?p=69
Happy V-day to everyone!

I hate Valentines day. I think its a holiday created by the card and chocolate companies designed to make more money, while making single folks feel bad - who in turn by their products for themselves.
