I was just wondering what other people write about on Heluim. Do you just write to any topic that sparks you interest or do you have a speciality that you write to? I have only just started writing to this site and I am trying to stay within my field (movies & film history). I was just curious about other writers on Helium and what what you all were writing about.

I've just started on Helium and don't really have a clue as to what I am doing yet or the best way to make money there, so I would appreciate any hints that anyone can give me. I've only written one article on living in London. How do you list questions? Is there another way to write besides answering questions? Does it help to review articles and rate them? Any insight into these questions would be appreciated.

check out www.DigitalJournal.com
write articles about the news, entertainment, pretty much everything but write it in you own words dont copy and paste.
I just started 2 days ago and I already have 9.04.
When the more peoples join then the more money the site gets and we all get paid!

I write on anything that strikes my fancy. I thought about staying in a certain area, but it's too boring for me. I've had to do that for quite awhile in my job and I hated it after awhile. I love the freedom to write on so many things.

I can totally relate to that, having to do the same thing over and over again can get boring. Thanks for the response, I am new to this and curious as to other peoples writing (in all areas). :)

I usually write about travelling issues , or I do find some articles at the front page I "respond" to.
Here are a couple of my writings:

Thanks for your response, I may look at some of the front page articles again and see if any of them strike my fancy. Thanks for the articles too, I enjoyed them all, but especially the one on Valentines day in Norway, I had no Idea! :)

I try to write about both things that I am interested in, such as news and events or pets, and things that I know a lot about like compters. I also write about other things that just happen to catch my interest, even if I have to do some research before I write.

Writing on Helium is one of the things I look forward to doing daily. However, sometimes I struggle to find topics that I feel an urge to write about.
When I write articles on Helium I write to topics that I feel
I actually having something to contribute that will be of value to other readers.
I find that the articles that are theory or opinion based don't do as well for me, as they will be rated more on the opinion the reader/rater might have.
There is a link in my myLot profile that will take you to my articles if you'd like to some of the subject matter.

Thanks for the idea, I can understand about the theory/opinion pieces, I can see how a reader might rate based on their own opinion and I will look out for that if I venture into those types of topics. I liked your article on Comparing the psychological strength of men and women, thanks so much for your response.

I personally like to stay within my realm of real estate and real estate investing however I also have a very extensive background in computer and electronics so I stay within the topics I know.
I have noticed that the ones I know the best are usually the ones that make me the most money and I get ranked best for because I completely know what I'm talking about and I'm not just posting my opinion on something I may not know completely about.
