Those stars by people's names?

You get those stars when you round 100 posts, they tell other people about the quality of your posts.

i think you got the answer to your question. as they say here you'll get it at your 100th post onwards. if i may suggest, just post quality responses and quality topics and you'll get a good rating once you get your star. it gives you a good feeling seeing a good star rating. at least that was how i felt. so mylot is also giving me some boost in my self-esteem, which i really need at the moment.
