I'm not a morning person, but I LOVE to get up early to see the sunrise from the peak of the mountains in the summer on what I know is going to be a gorgeous day.
Sunrise to me signals the start of a new day, and the sorrows and aches of the day before are forgotten. Everything comes to life as the dark fades away.

Both are amazing but both make you feel different. although simular =)
I prefer sunsets as i'm around to see them more and sunrise i'm a sleep or possibly getting ready to work. =)
Why do i prefer sunsets well it goes down and you watch things settle. sunrise you look forward to the day, the birds start to sing. both different feelings =)

i'd choose sunset. i don't see the sunrise very often and i'm not a morning person so i don't really enjoy getting up early to see the sunrise. i think the sunset sometimes looks really different more often.
