Hot fuzz any seen this yet

Just wanted to know if anybody has seen the film hot fuzz, is it worth watching and is it anything like Shaun of the dead

i haven't seen it yet but my friend has it on dvd and i am borrowing it tomorrow to watch it. is it any good? anyone know?
