I was wondering if any of you are running on Windows Vista yet and if you are having any issues with it. I purchased a new computer on Sunday that is running Vista. The only issue I am having the sound. I have sound when I am alerted that I have a new email and other Windows applications. I don't use Internet Explorer, I use Firefox. I wasn't able to get sounds with Firefox from websites, but a few minutes ago I uninstalled it and re-installed it and now there are web sounds. I still am not getting sound with Trillian, but my next step is to uninstall and re-install that. Are any of you with Vista having the same trouble?

It does run a little slow. You have to have a minimum of 512 MB. They told us when we bought the computer that if we were going to use it for anything other than what I'm using it for (basically posting, email and such) that we'd have to add at least another gig. So far, I don't have any complaints about the speed, but I'm not a gamer. My fiance would have the complaints, good thing he has is own computer lol.
Anytime a new OS comes out, it has it's wrinkles that need ironed out. I just keep up with the updates and hope for the best.
