If you go to Gaiam.com they have great programs for beginners. They're dvd's are fairly inexpensive and they work with the best yoga masters out there. All of the dvd's I have for yoga are from Gaiam.

The yoga dvd's come in numbers, you should not go astray. There's yoga for beginners 1, 2, and 3. There's advance yoga and yoga for the pregnant women. Go have the copy that suits you best. What I have are the 3 discs for beginners. There are others still, but I find the 3 discs are sufficient.

i got a yoga for dummies book for christmas one year and also a yoga mat. then i taught myself several posses. i have this video, but i cant remember what its called. but i bet if you go to a search engine and type in yoga for beginners or something related, im sureyou will find several good videos and books that will help you. or you could go to the YMCA and take beginner classes there. or any place that offers yoga classes.
