PRESTONE Fuel Injector / Carburetor cleaner

A friend of mine just gave me a Prestone Carb / Injector Cleaner.
Has anyone ever tried this product on their motorcycles? Is it effective? Is it safe for our bike's fuel system?
It states in this product that it dissolves fuel injector / carb deposits and cleans them & will last for about 3,000 miles, unlike the STP Carburetor / Fuel Injector Treatment that only prevents deposits with continuous usage.

I don't know how it works on motorcycles, but I use it on my car all the time. I can see a real difference in miles per gallon after using it. It's a cheap way to impove your gas mileage.

I'm not yet planning to use this product on my bike because I'm not yet sure whether or not it is safe for my bike's fuel system.
