This movie has a setting in harvard university. so romantic. i need to know is there anybody knows more facts, feeling and opinion about this movie.

almost all love stories have the same pattern. it is actually the cast that makes it marketable

The movie is based on the book by Eric Segal (sp?). The main character, oliver barrett, is actually based on a real man named oliver-different last name, who eric went to college (harvard) with. The story that unfolds is fictional. The oliver guy was actually a teacher at my high school.
