Photographer material?

Hey Everyone, I want to be a fulltime artistic photographer. But as well all know to get into that industry you need to know the RIGHT people! No matter how many courses you do or how good your photos are if you dont know someone you just cant break into the industry. Well I am currently particpating in My Lot and one other online business opportunity (message me if you want to know about it) just so I can quit my fulltime job and focus more on building up my portfolio to finally head towards my goal of becomming a photographer. I thought id start this topic to show some of my work and discuss the art of photography with everyone and possibly make some contacts in the industry! So i welcome your comments on my work and any tips you may have to help me reach my goal!NB: Please do not take my images and claim them as your own. They are copyright.

All I know is if you truly believe in your goal and work hard to get there,anything is possible.It is very important to get as much exposure as possible(so it was a good idea to join MyLot)as you have chosen a field that is not rich with opportunities.
I know little about photography other than knowing what I like.I hope the idea of giving up your full-time job(thus some security)does not come back to bite you.

Hi, first of all i just wanted to say hello and welcome to mylot, i hope you enjoy it here as much as the rest of us do.
Being a writer i know exactly what you are talking about, its also a business where its not what you know its who you know. I think the internet though is a great forum for getting exposure for yourself, and a great forum for expressing your talent. I love your sunset photo, its simplistic and beautiful.
I would love to learn more about your other online business you are working, i am always looking for more opportunities to earn additional income, so i have added you as a friend and look forward to hearing from you
