Are you giving tutorial class to your kids?

2 days ago, i watched a tv problem that talked about parents are having their children(at the age of 2 to 3 i guess) to join language lesson to learn Putonghua, beacause China is evolving strongly, and they feel it is a must for their child to learn Chinese, to be better prepared for the future. I understand why parents are doing this, but is it necessary to push your kids so hard, i mean they are not even good at speaking their motherlanguage at that time!This action may comfused them, as a resul, they are not favourable at both! I don't have a kid yet, thus i don't understand how parents feel about that.So, could you give me your opinion?
