What Age Do You Sound Like?

We often attempt to guess people's ages from the way they look, but what about the way they sound? I meet many people on the Internet in various ways and they're always surprised to discover how old I am. Everyone thinks I'm at least 15 years younger than I am and I've even been taken for a teenager, yet I'm actually 53!
How old do people think YOU sound? Has anyone ever been way out in estimating your age, purely based on the way you speak on the Net?

A lot of people said I sound so young over the phone. I am 21 and yet my voice is like that of a 12 year old. That's true on the phone alone coz I know I sound differently in person.

Never thought about the phone! I was thinking more in terms of how we put ourselves over when we express ourselves on paper as it were, but the phone is relevant, too. Good point.

Im sorry. Well on my writing I can say I sound mature. That's what my professors say and even my cyber pals.

It depends on my mood it seems.
When I'm feeling shy, people think I sound like a little girl. Twelve they say. Other times, when I'm in a foul mood, annoyed, or just plain serious people've told me I sound as old as my Mother -- and she's in her forties!
I'm in my teens though..so all guesses are off lol. People either say I look twelve or my own age, so that's slightly better than people's guesses solely on my voice ^_^
