Achilles Tendon Tear

I am recovering from an achilles tendon tear. I have had the problem for 9 months untreated. I found out I had a partial tear. Has anyone else gone through this. I just feel as if it is not healing. I am in an aircast and go to physical therapy 3X week.

I had that injury 10 yrs.back and untill now it keeps coming back ..maybe bcoz i am always on my feet ..my job is hard i need to be on my toes all the time so i guess that is the reason why is not healing ..But when i am on my vacation i dont feel anything...you need to rest it ...
