Question: Now, is the dude redeemed? The dude, though hurt, was hell-bent to make the girl happy. He planned on buying roses, 3 of them, to be as traditional as possible, so that the girl will at last have a taste of valentine's day. he started the day pretty late. so he rushed all his duties before leaving the house. he went straight to studying in the library (he had an exam the next day). though the library was conducive to studying, he cant concentrate - he was torn between his plans for later and his frequent checking of his cellphone, and his frequent disappointment seeing that his girlfriend hasn't tried to contact him. it was already 3pm. 4pm came. he was officially done studying. rushing to the nearest shopping center (actually, the only one in the university) to look for flowers. he immediately spotted a beautiful bouquet of crysanthimums (the damn flower's hard to spell) and bought it immediately. catching the approaching ride, he tries smell the flowers. there was no smell! thoughts raced through his head. what if she doesn't like them? what if she wanted something more romantic? then he realized that he can't just buy the first thing he sees. he must buy the most beautiful one for her. he hailed the ride to stop. almost jumping out, he ran back to the shopping center to return the flowers. the shop keeper, though pissed, agreed. the dude then went to another flower shop where he saw some beautiful roses. he bought 3 like he planned, and asked the flower arranger to make the bouquet extra beautiful. the arranger, showing a look of understanding, put in a few other flowers to boot at no extra charge. the bouquet was soon finished and rushed to the nearest ride. the traffic jam was at it's worst. but even worse was his feeling of worry and anxiety eating him alive. realizing that this was the first time he was nervous about meeting a girl, much more her, who is also his best friend. then his cellphone rings. the girlfriend sent a message, and she was pissed. seeing this as an opportunity, the dude deliberately ignored her messages and calls. he wanted to seem that he had no plans at all. he wanted to surprise her. at last he arrived, and after the grueling ordeal of the past 2 days, they had the happiest valentine's day ever. note: try to check out part 1 before reading this. also, any valentine's day stories are welcome.

ohhh, that's so sweet, at least it had a happy ending, I was getting worried, I though there was gonna be a bad ending where he sees her with someone else or something... that would give a great short story but you'd give the characters names of course. Why don't you write short stories and publish them at lulu? Sorry got enthusiastic about the story :P I think you spelled crysanthimums and I think it's chrysanthemums according to my spell check in firefox. Cheers I can't think of a story now as it's 6:03 am and at this time my brain sort of doesn't want to think about anything but my bed lol I'll wait a few seconds though to see if you liked my responses!
