do u think that VIRENDRA SHEWAG is rightly included in the world cup team?

this man had been there in the cricket team of India without any rock solid performance for a long time ... but as there are many other budding talents there in India, so do u think that the selectors had done a right job?

Hi, I think the selectors have been grossly wrong in selecting him for the present world cup for the following reasons.
Sehwag is a hand eye coordinated player. Good hand eye coordination only comes with rock solid self confidence which is obviously low for him with his repeated failures.
Sehwag can bat only in pitches where the ball comes on nicely to the bat. Almost all the windies pitches are on the slower side where the ball doesn't come on to the bat nicely. So, only players with good defensive skills can survive better there. Natural stroke makers like sehwag will find the going difficult.
Similarly, in windies kind of pitches, only players with good footwork will be able to make a mark. We all know sehwag woefully lacks foot work. How will he adjust there?
To prove the above points, he has scored only 19 and 12 in middle order and opening slots against lankans in pitches that suit his style. Definitely he will fare poorer in slow pitches.
He is not needed for team india as a bowler because tendulkar, yuvraj singh and ganguly can fulfil the fifth bowler option nicely without him in the team.
Including him and especially opening with him in goa would have already sent wrong signals to many persons in the team. Particularly uthappa's confidence would have already taken a beating by such a reckless move.
My idea is to play pathan instead of sehwag in the playing 11. I'm sure pathan is definitely a better bowler than sehwag and can contribute with the bat in the middle or lower order more usefully than sehwag in the present circumstances. Thanks.
