Most women know cooking and they have to cook at home. But men have got better exposer when it comes the chance of profession. Women had been victim of orthodoxy. So men have started professional cooking earlier and are in majority. But nowadays condition is changing. Women, like all other field, started challenging men in this field too. Every woman appreciates her husband's cooking skill and every man appreciates his mother's cooking skill. That doesnot prove a man better cook than a woman.

My husband is a much better cook than I am. He can put together a number if ingredients from our pantry and it always turns out delicious. on the other hand, I need to have the precise ingredients listed in a recipe before I'm even willing to try something. I think that is why I would rather bake. It's like chemistry - if you add the exact amounts of what is required and cook it at the right temperature things will always turn out.

My husband is a much better cook than I am. The only reason I can think of is he loves to cook.
Stereotypes, yep. Wonder where it came from, a man of course. Think about it. Back in the day, men worked outside the home to provide food and shelter. The women stayed home and took care of the house and family. Since women were always at the house, and always feeding her family, then women should cook.
I am so glad things have changed. I would go nuts knowing I would have to cook three meals a day, everyday.
