Multiple Email Id's

In today's world a lot of people communicate through emails and i believe this is the fastest growing communication medium. Since creating email id is free and not a hassle so many of them create multiple email id's. I personally have more than 10+ email ids and though i regularly use 5 on daily basis. Do you think its good to have multiple email id's? How many to you have? If you have multiple email address then how to categorize which one to use for what?
