Do you believe in the power of writting? Do you have the courage to write to Pres. Bush. and tell him Global Warming is real and He should make necessary laws to change people specially American in using fossil Fuels. Iraq war will not happen if US did not buy oil from them.

It doesn't take any courage to write a letter to Bush. It's just a waste of time that I wouldn't bother with. He doesn't pay attention to anyone if they don't agree with him, so even if he saw a letter from an American citizen, which is pretty unlikely since he has secretaries who read them, he wouldn't give a damn. All he's interested in is money and power. He doesn't care about the cost to other people.

Yes, I believe the pen is mightier than the sword. Because it is through words that we can record history and the wars, and trials, and misjustice to future generations, and to each other world wide. I am active in politics and have written on many occasions to Bush, my selectmen, legislators, etc. It is out voice that they depend upon to guide them in the right directions. I am not sure where you are going about the fossil fuel and iraq issues. Perhaps too much info for one post.

Yes, I believe in the power of writing. I believe that the pen is mightier than the sword, figuratively speaking. But it's really effective. The Holy Bible is the best example. No sword or fire was able to destroy it despite powerful groups which attempted to blot it from the world. Anybody interested may write to Pres. Bush anything he wants. We have the freedom of speech. Besides, there are many communication links in the internet where we may reach the Office of the US President. In fact I am sending him and the acknowledgment of receipt is automatic LOL! At least I have sent what I wanted to tell the US President.

I believe that writing is definitely a powerful tool. If you can write effectively and make people read what you wrote, you can draw them in and make them feel the same way and make them help you fight a cause. I think writing is one of the most powerful tools out there today.

oh, and i thought this would be a fun question. your title was misleading. I do have courage to write to Bush, and say how much i admire him. yes, i am a Bush supporter. Im sure he is aware global warming is real. there is no doubt about it. but just because he doesnt view it the same way as you doesnt mean he is looking the other way. did you know our planet is cleaner then it has been then 20 years ago? the world is warming up just because it is mother nature. look back in history, there have been times of warmth and times of great cold. you cannot say we humans (or bush) is to blame for the earths heating. that is simply foolishness. if it was true, wouldnt the years during the industrialzation have made the earth so hot, since they polluted the air so badly? the Iraq war was not caused by greed and the want of oils. that is ridiculous! where do you get your sources?? it would have happened anyway! we went there because we suspected they had the nuclear bomb, and were most likely planning to use it. sure we didnt find any WMD, but who is to say it was not moved? syria perhaps? we were just making sure, protecting ourselves and the country. and look what good we have accomplished there. we brought down saddam. liberated the people. we are trying to help. gave freedom to people who needed it. is that so terribly wrong? how can you say it was for oil??
