People have different perspective when it comes to different issues they are encountering on a day-to-day basis. From lifestyle, hygiene, behavior, culture, traditions, intellect, decisions and choices, different people varies.
Some may choose fashion due to the fact that it is always updated, always upbeat. Fashion never goes out of date. People choose some things because it is in trend not because it is really what they like. Others choose it just to be included in the society where he/she belong. He/she has the fear of being outcasted because of not following a certain fashion or trend. It doesn't matter to them if it is in relevance with their personality or not. As long as they are in trend, it doesn't matter. Even it sometimes oppose their ideals, they still go for it.
On the other hand, some may choose passion rather than fashion. It is because they personally based their choice on what they believed in. They did not consider what other people may say regarding their chosen thing. They stand for what they firmly believe is right and logical according to their point of view. Their decisons are not affected by the environment but with their love for it. As long as they are happy and contented with what they have or do, even it is not in accordance with the latest thing, they still prefer to choose it. They choose things just because they know it may help them to achieve something they want and love, and not because other people may recognize it as something new or upbeat.
How about you? Share some point!

I definitely go for passion. I may look at fashion and trends but I always consult my deepest emotions to go for whatever really makes me feel good, and not for what I see is most prevalent around me. And with your question, I would like to say that I have passion for fashion. I like to make my own trends. I always remember before when I used to start something entirely my own kind of trend within my circle of friends and they kind of follow it. I love to create something of my own. So, it is appropriate for me to say that I have passion for fashion.

Well, I can say that having passion for fashion is not bad. But the passion is what really makes fashion's worth more of value.
Thanks for commenting. I thought this discussion will never be responded by anyone, lol.

Don't be sad. I've got responses for some of my topics like after 3-4 days, even for a week. You'll be surprised then.

Wow Fatal Yvory,
your discussion is very interesting, and you write really sharing opinions....
Personally I choose passion. Fashion is important, it's always a pleasure to see people well dressed, trendy people, etc., but I think that there is nothing more important than passion.
Clothes are important because they should show us what kind of person is who wears them. One person who wears clothes only to be trendy has no great personality, because he/she follows the fashion, not his/her heart.

Fashion changes and is never current as it is always in flux and at the whim of the public. I think it is better to be passionate and to go with what is real to you. It will not change as often and it declares that you are a master of your own destiny. That way you are a setter of lines and not a follower of them.
