I always put it in my bag. But my office mate always jokes us that money left in our tables won't be stolen, but ballpens left on the table will be stolen. Good day!

I don't keep my pen in my pocket all the time (i seldom wear pants or clothes that have pockets) but i will make sure that i have one in my handbag though. I also have another pen in my organizer so that it's easy for me to use it whenever i like.
