guys, i have one condition for you.if we all live in middle-earth at the time of the ring war, and we don't know yet who will be win the war and we have to go to the war, which side will you choose? mordor or gondor ? for me, i will choose to mordor side. i'm saying that because, before we go to war, we have to calculate everything right? and i realize that gondor of out of number, which in other side, mordor have 40,000 of orces. these army including big strong troll. beside, sauron has been summon all his ally. the pirates from the sea, men of haradrim from the south. these can be thousands of army. especially, mordor and isengard have been allied too. so, i will going to mordor and war in side of them, how about you...?

The elves, probably Lothlorien or Rivendell because you are so well protected there, and the fighting would be so cool. Being in the Rohirrim would also pwn, as your in a cavalry group of around 4000 horsemen so your pretty safe and the enemy would be so scared.

why, they are ride a beast and the orc so good in fight.in the book version, these warg rider is difficult to be beaten.

Yer, the warg rider fight is really poor and easy for Rohan to win. They should have made it much more exiting and closer because Rohan lose hardly anyone in that fight and the args get killed all over.

There are some minor mistakes I would like to comment on: 1. Sauron actually had 100,000 orcs at the time of the war. 2. Elves and dwarves don't hate each other, they are just annoyed with one another. 3. There were about 6000 rohirrims during the time of the war, far less than what it used to be. And you can't choose to be an istari! Unfair.. They were not even human. Wizards from over the sea, Maiar chosen by the Valar to come to Middle Earth to guide men. But it's a long history way before the third age of Middle Earth. Okay, if I were to do the calculations.. Mordor would definitely win with 100,000 orcs. And the Southrons and Haradrhims. And the cursed Black Numenoreans the pirates. And the war trolls. Finally, the dreaded Nazgul. I doubt even Aragorn could defeat one. The men of Gondor, on the other hand, was hard pressed. The endless siege on their border has weakened them. Rohan had troubles of their own. The elves were dwindling and they care no longer for the affairs of Middle Earth, for their age has come to pass. The dwarves? The only remaining stronghold would be at the Lonely Mountain. Even they were sieged during the war. The movie never mention this, but the book does. However, I would still side with Men. For men had a courageous and far-sighted leader - Aragorn. He's the last of the Dunedain, and that is saying something. Don't forget he had the Sword That Was Broken that cut The Ring from Sauron's finger. Men had courage and they did not flee, instead they stood their ground and defended Gondor from being overrun. Even without the aid of the elves, Men could still hold Sauron's forces at bay. So I'd choose to go to war alongside the Rohirrim, for they are almost invincible on horseback. oh, and p.s. Isengard was defeated and Saruman was stripped of his wizard status before the battle of Pelennor Fields. Sauron suffered a terrible loss due to this. That's why I'd side with Men, for I value honour and valour above all else.

I will choose to be an istari, the wizards. It'll be so cool and I get to choose which side I want to be in. I'm also able to wield powerful magic so that'll be so awesome!

i will choose gondor because orcs are ugly. i want to remain human plus humans had allied with the elves, the dwarves, and even the undead so they can easily crush the forces of mordor.

the dwarves allied with elves?no, i don't think so.elves and dwarves are hate each other, so impossible to them to be allied.gimli and legolas are an exception.the undead are unknown right?they are come at the end of the war.i mean, if we don't know about the undead, will still choose for gondor?

no at no cost i will join the orc side rather if i would be the one who has really to choose i will have gone for gondor becouse they were weak but they are the good ones at no cost i would have deflected towards the well equipped army of orcs at no cost the army of men can fall because they have courage which was there best defence at that time and might be the path of there victory be difficult but not impossible and also the great persons have told good ones and truth can be hided for some time but cant be defeated by the wrong and the false

If I were a human being that lived in Middle Earth, I don't know that I would be aware of everything that was going on in the rest of the known world. So, for that fact alone, were I called to fight, I would fight with my own kind choosing to fight with my "kin" and die with them, should the need arise, than to forsake all I hold near and dear. While the desire to be on the "winning side" might be appealing, I don't think I could forsake my family and friends. I would have to stand with them.

I'm with Macky7. I think I would choose Gondor, because Orcs and Uruk-hi are so ugly and scary. They just look evil and untrustworthy. They'd just as soon turn on each other (and often do). It dosen't seem safe to ally yourself with creatures like that. I'd probably choose the Gondor side largely out of having more in common with those who are on that side. I think there is more of a common link of Humanity with men, elves, and dwarfs, than there is with the Mordor side who has no respect for humanity, or nature, or freedom.

I would stick with the World of Men. Even if I didn't know that they would end up winning, I would still stay with them, because they are good. I would rather die fighting than defect to the evil side and live such a horrible life.
