Problems with myLot

Well, I only got two overnight, so I guess I am. One of my other friends had a discussion about this as well. It must be some computer related problem. It will get resolved eventually. We need to be patient, and develop an alternative routine. Good morning, and hugs to you.

I didn't notice, generally, I just check the friend topics page on the site... I'm afraid of being swarmed by email notifications :) But sometimes things just stop working as they did, here on myLot!

Do you set your friend's "Notify" to "On"?I haven't use those notify features for long so I didn't really know does it work fine.Please check it on your "Friends"page and if the problems remain the same you may need to check again after a short while to see if its back to normal.

I think that there was a delay in sending these messages, but now it seems that everything is normal

OMG YES YES and more Yeses. I have emailed them (myLot) yesterday and also before making this posting. It so aggravating. I asked them if I had been banned? I thought it was because someone was blackballing me because (as she PM'd me didn't like my responses!!!!)

yes. i also faced this problem. starting from today..i havent get any mail informing that someone replies my discuaaion. i tought there is no replies but when i check back, there is comment from mylot members.. what's wrong?? its quit dificult today cuz no notice mail from mylot...

Now, that you mention it I didn't get any this morning. I usually have 3-4 when I check my email the first thing in the morning. I don't remember any today. They could be doing some upgrading or something. I sometimes don't get my responce emails for a few hours after someone actually responds. So I'd give them some time.

I dont subscribe to being intimated when friends start a topic, so I really dont know. I normally check in once a while and respond to a few discussions.

OH looks its a problem with many users, i do not use emails to read my friends Discussions, i go to their profile and see what they have started.

I'm now getting the e-mail messages coming across now, including some from last night.

I have the same problem this morning I checked my email and there was nothing from any of my friends either. And most of the mornings I have so much email from all my friends, I dont no what is going on. If you fine out please let me no.

yeah i heard everyone was having problem with their e-mail so you not the only one, i guess they are fix now. so i am sure you probaly figured that out too, i never check my mail because they always get send into the junk folder so i just check all my friend post every day to see if they have new one or not.

I checked this morning and I had nothing which I thought was odd. I So I checked my post and I did have responses in them, I did not think too much about this and went to work. I just got home and my email is packed down . I sure hope that they fix this. It is kind of annoying.

Haven't had that problem personally. For example, I responded to this post via an email alert that you had posted a new discussion. Hopefully your alerts are sorted now? I understand that with sites such as these when there are lots of new members adding new friends and alerts sometimes the system can't handle it and the alerts either stop happening or you get them several days later but you get several days worth in one go! If you have lots of alerts set up I wouldn't want to be in your shoes if you got a week's worth in one go. I hope it sorted itself out. I'm not sure if this is the best way to respond to a discussion (via the email link) as others may have already posted similar responses OR your issue may have already been resolved, in which case, I apologise for taking up your time with this :)

I have heard a lot of people complaining about this. They wrote to MyLot too, but they never replied back, as usual. I hope now, 3 weeks later, that this is not going on anymore. Are you okay now?

hi there.. well before i used to get email alerts whenever somebody replies to my discussion, but it was too handfull sometimes, so i just changed my preferences to NO, since i was visiting this site very often, and then i just replied whenever there's a response at this site. Thanks a bunch and happy earnings to you^_^

I receive the mail regularly when someone answers to my discussions and when my friends begin new ones.

Yes, I noticed that last night, when you replied to one of mine, and I didn't get an e-mail about it. I assume its a temporary problem, or the MyLot e-mail server is getting overloaded with the number of people using the system now.

It wouldn't affect me because I keep all notifications turned off as there is way too much email on this computer anyway. I keep track of my Mylot friens through the Discussions Started by Friends area. I think a number of people are having the problem you speak of and a couple others have posted about it. Yesterday, just seemed to be a pretty bogged down time on Mylot. I had a lot of trouble getting a few replies posted. I guess there are "growing pains" all around.
