PREGNANT WOMN ARE PROHIBITED FROM DOING PAINTING AND DEOCRATING

Reason being paints contain white lead which is poisonous and while decorating, they may reach out causing dislocation of babies. How far it is true?

Although it is superstition or grandmother's diktat, it is still followed. Because the paints are having white lead and some other toxicants, the pregnant woman should not inhale such acids which may cause damage to the child.

There are chances, she may be inhaling the toxic gases emanating from these substances and that may cause some health problem particularly to the baby which is in the womb which is very sensitive.
