Here in India, kidnapping has become the most sought after pastime of the criminals. Earlier they used to kidnap professionals, businessmen and people who they thought could pay a large ransom. But this was a bit risky. Now they have shifted their attention towards children. Of late, only children are being kidnapped and that too with no consideration to the financial position of their parents. Obviously, most of them fail to meet the demand resulting in the brutal killing of their children. Are such crimes also on the rise in other countries of the world?
