other than honarable discharge

I was set up 2 weeks before I was to get out by another service member in the army. I now have an other than honorable discharge because of it. is there any way to update my discharge . I hate to think I wasted 3 years of my life in the service.just to screw up my records and lose my benefits...

What code is on your DD form? You can bring it to a recruiter and they can tell you what your code means and how it effects your benfits.

On your discharge paperwork you have to look up your RE code. if they gave you an RE code of 3 you should be able to request a wavier to a general discharge. If it is anything higher, thye pretty much screwed you.
