With so much work to do, people in present times find it difficult to find time to spend on their hobbies. Do you find time?

With two little girls to tend to, 24 hours a day are not enough for me to do things that interest me anymore. I just try to sneak in a few hours to check on mylot whenever my two little ones are in school.

For me, working and maintaining my house takes up a ton of time. I have one of those jobs that doesn't just end when you go home for the day, and often have to continue with my work from home. I also value time with my boyfriend, friends and family, but that means I tend to spend my spare time doing things with them rather than pursuing hobbies. Writing is my most cherished hobby, and I actually get cranky if I don't allow myself time to do it. My boyfriend has to leave for work two hours earlier than I do in the morning, so when he leaves I take my coffee and retreat to the computer room for solitary writing time. This means getting up a lot earlier than I would have to, but it is well worth it. My brain is fresh and uncluttered and I can focus on my writing. If I had more time, I would love to spend it hiking and painting.

When my children were growing up I never had much time to pursue my own hobbies and interests. Now that they have move out, I spend most of the day doing all the things that I like to do. Most of my time is spent practising my music. I have already learned to play the piano and I am now learning to play the vioilin and the guitar. Next year I am hoping to learn how to play the clarinet.

when i was still working, i did find it very demanding, but still, every week ends, i still find time to pursue the interests and hobbies that i've been planning to do a week long. i always pursue to do it because i think that i need a break after a very long and tiring weekdays. that's why, i try to manage and balance my time back then.
