Best music throughout time?

What were some of your favorite songs the year you graduated high school? I think it would be neat to compile some great songs and take a trip down memory lane. I graduated in 2001 and some of the biggest hits and stars at the time were:
Eminem-Real Slim Shady
Goo Goo Dolls-Swing
Tupac- Changes

I graduated 1999. Most celebrated that time were the Backstreets Boys, Spice Girls, Boyzone and the like. But i can remember, we sang "Through the years" by Kenny Rogers, "Farewell" by Raymund Lauchenco and "Handog" by Florante duting our graduation day. I consider these as the "best music througout time".
