whew.. years have passed again and its time to practice our right to vote... (out of 4 registered voters in our family, only one is determined to vote.. and thats me.. how sad... )
but with all the campaign (posters here there everywhere and tv commercials, i hate the TOL-mike defensor commercial, its... err.. senseless?? ) i still dont know who to give the 6 senatorial slots to.... there's ninoy aquino (could be), ping lacson (still have my support for presidency)... then .. who else... i dont know... but for sure, i wont vote ... RICHARD GOMEz.. what does he know about being a senator...?? based on the attitude he showed on some sports event before, i dont think he is the type of person who could get in that field of political battle and prevail... and speaking of actors going in to that arena.. what could you say about MANNY PACQUIAO... last thing i heard was he's running as congressman for S. cotabato??? being a mayor is kinda good but to make laws.. whew.. questionable.. im not judging him because he didnt finish schooling, i know for a fact that the betterment of his fellow filipinos is always at the best of his interest, but hey... shouldnt he just do it and help us the best way that he can and not by going into this political world.. he is pacman... he is good at the ring and maybe with business but dealing with politician is another thing right?? goodthing im not in s. cotabato.....
so any bets for this election???

Ah yes.. the circus season is here again. Hooray for the clowns and the fire eaters and the trapeze artists..
*sighs*
But I'm still voting. I'm urging anyone I know to vote, because we seriously need to clean up the present administration. And with the line-ups.. ugh.. Oh well, at least it's easier to see who I'll be voting for.
I don't care about parties - they switch oftentimes for me to actually take some of them seriously. I've already chosen almost half of who I would be voting for, and some more researches will decide who will complete my "senatoriables".
I'm all out for Chiz, that's for sure. I'd like to vote for Loren, but when she switched alliances last election season, her integrity was compromised. All I know is, I won't be voting for trapos and celebrities who are obviously unfit for public service.. yes, some of them have the best interests at heart, but there's also the saying, "The road to perdition is paved with good intentions."
So Filipinos, let's all vote!
ASTEEG!!!! \m/^___^

yup...
i guess i am ready to vote... with the line of senatoriables, it's easy to point out the bad apples from the good ones.. i would not say that i have a more sound judgment than any of you here but guess it would be worth it if i share my line-up with you guys.. i am open for comments:
-John Henry OsmeƱa
-Antonio Trillanes-its time to put someone who would serve the voice of the military there... NO TO GRINGO.. trouble maker.
-Edgardo Angara
-JOker Arroyo- wlang sinasanto.. just loved him when he prosecuted Erap then
-Chiz Escudero
-Michael Defensor
i would be voting for them... i have to think hard to another 6 .. but i donnu... there's a great possibility that i would only voter for the 6 above-mentioned... dya hve other suggestions?

I am definitely ready, I will give my vote to whom I think is more deserving to be a leader of our country. Though senatorial candidates are the only highest position available, I think they are the one's who will make the foundations of the laws here in our country.
I haven't completed my senatorial list yet on who to vote, but will definitely choose them wisely this coming elections.
I am also trying to become one of those poll clerks in the coming election day, in support of having a clean and decent votings. A friend of mine has even teased me to be also ready to dodge bullets, just in case!;) LoL

well, many filipinos are still confused of whom to give their vote to. it's probably because there are too many distractions around like that cayetano who had just sprang out, trying to re-direct the people's votes. i also won't even dare try to vote for richard gomez. he's not even a sport. how could he handle more serious issues if he's ot-headed? you're right about him. he doesn't know anything bout politics. manny pacquiao also has a large chance of not winning as a congressman. many of his fans and supporters don't agree with the idea of him as a politician.
if i were to vote, i'd probably give one of my votes to kiko pangilinan. i think that he's a nice guy. and i haven't heard anything bad against him yet, like being a corrupt official. he has good publicity, so i think he'll probably be in one of the top 5 soon to be elected senators.

I'm not yet a Filipino citizen, I have to stay here for another year. The politics here is disgraceful. Too many applicants but almost everyone isn't qualified. They talk about their "platforms" when they get elected. Funny thing though... platforms shouldn't be something to identify a political candidate. It's their job!!!! Every year I visit the Phils and this is my longest stay yet and I found no improvement. They talk about progress but they only see progress in their own eyes and not in the viewpoint of the international community. I don't recall being dubbed as being in the Top 10 most corrupt countries in the world an impressive resume of accomplishments!?

As for me i'm starting to list my own choice of senators, there's cayetano, escudero, lacson, legarda, roco (not sure yet)and pangilinan. Have you seen the commercial of pichay?!? I really hate his way of saying it, as if he can really make the wish of the people, which i doubt that he can do it.

As usual a political circus just started.
The true color of philippine politics are slowly
unfolding on our very eyes. It started with
the acceptance of the known critics of the
Arroyo Administration -Tito and Tessie - to
the Administration ticket.
It is so yucky..lol

Chiz Escudero is on the top of my list! I'm his number 1 fan! :) I hope that COMELEC already processed my voter's application coz i can't wait to vote anymore! (My name was missing in the list last time- maybe that's why GMA won..TSK TSK..)
It's good to know that many of Filipinos now are wise enough in choosing their candidates for election. Tired of croc politicians and dirty government..lol We better be!

I have already registered for the coming election but I'm not sure if I'm really ready for it. Honestly, this is my first time to vote cause I'm not into politics. I hate it. I hate what our government officials/politicians are doing. Can't they just stop their bickerings?!?!?!? Can they just focus on the things that can help our country?!?!?!? I just don't know... I already have my choices for the 6 senatorial slots but I'm still having second thoughts if I selected the right ones. Actually, I'm already tired of hearing politicians' promises. I just hope that they will do what they have said and promised to the people.

this'll be my 2nd time to vote, and still im not ready... i dont even know for sure if the persons i will be voting will be the right persons for the job... but that's election... it's really relying and trusting those people with the promises they're gonna give and hope they will someday (soon) do it...
and about the bickerings?? i think its part of the political culture, ika nga, bisyo n nila un...
just stay focused on the election day, and be vigilant not only with your thoughts.. but also with your things... beware of the mandurukot... aheheeh!
thanks!
