I think it everyone should become an organ donor. After you die, you really don't have a need for those organs and if by donating you can save lives, why not? I also think everyone should donate their blood regularly, but I know there are reasons why some people can't donate. There is no (or very little) cost to yourself and so much benefit to the people who need it.

I too am listed as an organ donor. I think it would be great to be able to enable someone to continue with their life after I am gone. What better gift can you give someone than the gift of life? I think it's great that medical technology has advanced to the point that we are able to do this.

How can you give something that you also have defects? If there is something that I could give, It's the things that my organ and tissues can do to make someone happy and appreciate life.Other can do it but I may not.It doesn't mean I'm a lesser as a person but rather as another side of it. :)
