I am really partial to ebay. It will be a while before I can begin to trust any other site.

There are plently of free auction sites and with the rising fees at ebay they are getting ever more popular. As the free auctions do not cost anything you have nothing to lose by trying them. I've sold a few items at free auctions, you just have to be realistic and realise that items don't sell as well as they would on ebay. That's not to say that youhave to sell things cheaply just becuase it's a free auction. In the UK my favorites are www.ebid.co.uk , www.qxl.com and www.johnsauction.co.uk

Ebay fees have not gotten unrealistic yet. I have bought and tried to sell on Yahoo auctions. It is good backup for when Ebay does not have something. Although I have tried a couple of other things I still prefer Ebay. Have not had a problem and am getting sort of known there so it workss So I won't fix it at least for now.
