I am from India.I am 47 . In Indi parents they occupy the position of God. An average Indian pays regards andrespect ti their parents which can not be expressed in words. Yes with the chnge of times and the influenced by mass media lke TVs now days the children have changed and their way of expressing the love or liking towards the parents has got changed. In India since we have joint family the father occupies a dominant role and he is responsible for the welfare of the family and its members . This automatically makes him a prominant figure in the family which fetches him love and affection from the children and other members. With the changing times in our country also we are having nuclear families where just kids they stay along with their parents and there are no grand parents or uncles to stay with them. With the improved economy and resources and availabiltyof things in the market today's kids are looked after much better than the old timers and may be for this reason I think there is better bondage amongst them.
Myself I adore my parents and really pay my respects and regards from my depth of heart. They are affectinate, caring, understanding, cooperative, broad minded Godly Human beings. Unfortunately I lost my father last year when he was 76. I lost him all of a sudden, as he had a hert attaclk and passed away. I am not out of the shock till the time! Often I get into deep depression thinking about hm. He was a man of principles, he taught us what is right and what is not. He taught us manners, etequettes, ethics and values in the life. He was a friend and philosopher for me! I terribly miss him and feel his absecnce in my life! My mother naturally is in sorrow state as she lost her best friend. Presently my mother is staying with mysister after spending few months with us. WE will see to it that she will be comfortable for all of her remaining life and she will be given an open choice she can live with any one of her sons or her only daughter at her will so that she won't have any difficulty in her life! Now she is the only elderly support for us!

I love my parents; although, my parents don't understand or communicate with me. God gave you to your parents and them to you;)+

yes but sometimes i dont. but inspite of anything that i feel about them i respect them because they are still my parents. i like them because they are responsible, what i dont like about them is sometimes they are over protective and thinks out of this world things about me.
