Has anyone here read any of her works? I've loved some of her books. She goes into such detail and it's obvious she's done her historical research. Some of my favorites by her are: Ashes In The Wind, Flame and the Flower, Wolf and the Dove, and A Rose in Winter.
Do you like her work? Hate it? If so why? If you like her work what are some of your favorite books by her.

Oh, I haven't read any books by her. In fact, I haven't heard of her until now. Is she good? Are her books good too? I'll check her books out if I manage to find them in the bookstores here. I am always interested in writers that I haven't heard of yet.

She's very good. She does a lot of research and her historical information for the storylines is very accurate. The romance part is well played out and the characters are believable, at least I think so. She is one if you like historical romances to check into.

oh i've finally stumbled on a thread that features an author who has delighted me so much in the past. have you tried Shanna? I liked both Ashes in the Wind and Rose in Winter. there are other good historical romance writers out there, but Kathleen Woodiwiss is something else

Believe it or not I haven't read that one by her. Everytime I went to something came up. I checked it out of the library a few times and just never got the chance to.
There are some very good historical romance authors out there I agree. So many don't realize how much research the good ones do for their stories. Kathleen Woodwiss, for me anyway, I think is one of the best out there.

I have not read anything by her but I will make a point of trying to remember her name next time I am browsing on Amazon. Thanks for the lead ~Donna

If you like historical romances I think you'll like her's. She has a way of writing so that you can really see what is going on and visualize the characters.

I have read these books. In fact, I have them in my basement. If I like a book I will keep them and re-read them.
They originally belonged to my mom and when they moved she gave them to me.
I have read several of them over and over again. Isn't "Shanna" by her as well?

I'm the same way. If I like it I keep it and re-read it as well. I've re-read hers a few times :)
Yes Shanna is by her. I think it was actually her first book published but I could be wrong on that one.
