do you like men to be chivalrous? to open the car doors for you, to let you sit first, to open the door for you, to pull up your chair in a restaurant, etc.
i do, yes, though it might look old fashioned. but nowadays, most of the guys don't practise chivalry. of course, i can't complain much, because their argument is that women claim equality and that's what they get it - part of the package!
so, what do you think?
let us know.
thanks

i personally would love to be treated so like a lady! before my husband and i got married he used to care so much about these gentlemanly gestures now that we are married he changed so i just make a joke to him about it. women claiming equality doesn't mean men dont have to open up the doors for us anymore. women just claims equality of work and treatment in a man's world job.

As a man, I can say that I like to be chivalrous. I also believe in equality of men and women. However, I guess I am old-fashioned but I believe that men and women can be equal but men should be masculine and women feminine. I see part of being masculine as being chivalrous. I don't me macho but I mean being a gentleman.

Women want equallity. But not in the way men think. They want equal rights when it comes to jobs and the pay. They are tried of low pay for the same job a man does. They be women want to still be treated as women. Door holding is a nice way of being the nice guy. I don't think it is old fashioned to hold doors. We all have to walk through them.
