No Place like Kolkata......It's the Best

I grew up on London and in recent years I've visited Kolkata for 2 or 3 weeks in November or December, I never realised how much I would miss a trip there until last December when I didn't go after visiting there 3 years in a row, I tell you, I was depressed for the whole of November and December, so much so that I've already booked my holiday to go again in November this year (I booked it months ago) because I miss it so much. London is my home but the best place for me to visit on holiday and catch up with family and friends is Kolkata. I do believe that it is one of the most hospitable cities one could ever hope to visit. People are so genuine and friendly there and I can't wait till I get over there! x

this is very tue....the essence of calcutta, if can be described , is in the word calcutta itself.....nothing can describe it better, the warmth the ability of people to smile even in utter distress...all impossible is possible in kolkata...our kolkata!!!

Hi, Yeah nothing like kolkata but unfortunately i have not seen much of calcutta. :-(. Iam living in bombay and mind u its a fabulaous place as well. Its unfortunate that being a benglali i have not seen it much. Plenty of bengalis here as well and we celebrate durga puja with lot of joy and happiness. But still we talk about calcutta duringpuja and in other occasions. Cheers, Tutul I would love to c more of calcutta and know abt this place

yes my dear friend kolkata is the nice place but in india there are somany places to visit and there are also very good beauty...............
