movies and media a boon or ban

As a college student ,i see many peoples saying that the movies and medias arre not neccssary for younger generation ,which oftyten leaves me in confusion so i hope that the friends in mylot may be ABLE TO CLEAR MY DOUBT , so only i came here they say it acts as a medium spreading violence but we see it entertaining who is wrong .Please help me by saying your valuable suggestion

I think the more options the better for learning and society. I think that if we make the media affordable for the masses then we will all benefit.
