do you ever remember who your first grader teacher is? i am 23 years old and will never forget my very first class adviser, her name is arlene asperas. i thought she is the most beautiful teacher in the whole planet, i admire her the most. i wanted to be like her until now. i thought of her as a smart person next to my mother. after i finished my first grade, she resigned in the school where i used to study and never see her again. i wonder where ms. asperas is at the moment. can you share your first grader teacher to me as well?

Great question I am 43 and I remember mine!! Her name is Miss Sparks. I remember she asked the class about our home information, address and such and I didn't know my home phone number. She said every should know their home phone number!!! So , you guessed it, I went home and found out and memorized it! Both my older children remember and love their 1st grade teachers. Now my youngest is in 1st grade and I don't like her teacher!! ahgggaaa... thats a first. Of course I don't tell my child that.

Even though I started first grade in 1950, I do remember her. Her name was Margaret Whiting. She was a wonderful teacher.

Trudy Helsel...She was always so kind and smiled constantly. The funny thing is my son has her for first grade this year and she remembered me 22 years later.
