I love making jewelry. I use gauge wire to make hoops, and also to make rings. The only tools I use are needle nose pliers, wire cutters and my hands. I get the most joy out of making the rings, it's fun to shape the wire and then thread on seed beads. Each ring is special, I can never get the same pattern twice. I haven't made anything in a while, so as soon as I can I'll get back to it. I also have used Fire Mountain, is there anyone else I should try? I need quality wire that won't change shape.

Making jewelry is like anything else, just takes practice! If you like wire jewelry or bead and wire jewelry, here are some good places to learn the techniques. It's where I got my best lessons: www.wire-sculpure.com www.wigjig.com I sell jewelry here: www.bibelots.etsy.com I just recently opened the store. There is more jewelry to come. Gerene

I to make jewelry: chain maille, beading, wire wrapping. I love it. I found a store on eBay that has great quality precious metal wire. Check there for a store called: 208 Precious Metals Their quality to top and prices are fair - I watch sterling prices closely and they follow just under. I strongly recommend them.
