No smoking policy on company property

The boss wants to ban smoking on our property. currently there is a no smoking policy in the workplace but is allowed outside the building. We are based in New Hampshire and I cant seem to find information for any laws that state the company can inforce a no smoking policy outside the building.

Even though it sounds like there is already a policy in place that respects both smokers and non-smokers, somehow the non-smokers always seem to prevail. Maybe you can first recommend to your boss that he/she try another avenue first. For instance, the boss can implement a rule that states clearly that "employees must be a certain amount of feet away from the buildings entrance".

well you may ask your boss
about it beacuse he can say you better
