Have you ever eaten or seen someone eat something that was just plain weird or gross? What was it? Here are a few I've seen:
Mayonnaise on pancakes, sometimes with a fried egg on top (eaten by my grandmother)
Peanut butter, banana, lettuce, and mayonnaise sandwich (also my grandma)
Butter in chili (my boyfriend and his family)
Wendy's french fries dipped in a Frosty (my best friend)

When I visited the US I had bacon pancakes with maple syrup. How can somebody mix bacon and syrup!!!? It didn't taste too good though. Those things you have stated seem pretty weird, I don't think I could eat the mayo pancakes but I don't find anything bad with butter in chili.

Yucky! Mayonnaise and Pancakes...GROSS!
Well, also something that is gross is what my brother did this morning.
I made pancakes and he puts Taco Bell mild sauce on it. Umm, honey...I don't think pancakes are suppose to be spicy! Yuck.
My brothers also like to dip their French fries in a Frosty, or a milkshake type of thing.
And, my dad has and likes to put butter on everything.
He has and does put butter in his chili. I think that doing that just makes it taste funny and runny! :D
I am sure that there are more disgusting things that have been eaten in this house, but none that can come off the tip of my tongue! :D

THAT is a total new one!
I have never heard of a person put Taco Bell sauce on pancakes.
Can you say, ewwww? LOL
Maybe Taco Bell should consider adding pancakes to their breakfast menu. ha ha

...Butter and chili? That's disgusting!
My boyfriend puts pepper into his macaroni and cheese, which I guess isn't that weird.

WOW thats gross man. Once i saw one of my friends make a sandwich out of ketchup, and he stuck pretzils in his apple and ate it. I just didn't understand it.

Those are not appealing to me either. My husband likes a jam and egg omlet, and that is gross to me too.

Mayonnaise, peanut butter, chicken and pickles by my uncle a very long time ago...but then now that I think back as an adult...I think he must have been smoking something to make that combo. ha ha
My sons like to dip their fries in Frosty also...or a milk shake. Yuck!
I have seen my partner put butter in his chili also. Hmm...not going to add more fat to my chili...thanks.
But my partner also likes to put peanut butter and syrup on his pancakes. I am not too fond of syrup...but then when you put peanut butter on them...it isn't too bad. :)

Where did you learn that?
I was a manager for Wendy's, once upon a time, and I did not know that! :)

Yuck! I have never tried my French fries in my Frosty or milkshake thing...but my brothers tend to like it!
I am not to fond of syrup either. I think that is smells disgusting, it is really sticky, and it tasted gross.
But, I love peanut butter and sometimes peanut butter and jelly on my pancakes.
Oh, and my brother also likes maple syrup and sausages together. He dips it in! YUCK!!! :)

A son of a friend of mine (who is a teenager, by the way!) Puts tomato sauce (ketchep for you Americans) on everything.... And when I say everything... I mean everything!! The grossest thing I ever saw him eat with tomato sauce on it was his ice-cream after his dinner. That was just way too much for me *laughs*

Salt on watermelon. My cousins in western Pennsylvania do that.
Ranch dressing on cooked broccoli.
Bologna and potato chip sandwich. White bread, mayo, bologna and put the potato chips on there. Another piece of white bread on top. Then use the flat of your hand to squash it all down till you hear the chips all break into little pieces. Yummy.

UGH! Your granny must really like maynoaisse! My friend and I used to eat peanut butter and cheese sandwiches. Sounds gross, but it was actually good. I have made chili and put a bit of chocolate in it-- it makes it a little sweet and it's very good!

try this one it is good and one of my personal favorites. get a spaghetti, the ones with the meat sauce.. make sure you have lots of meat on your spaghetti. then get a vanilla ice cream. get a scoop and place it on your spaghetti. eat spaghetti as is. i love it. it's not disgusting actually. but it's a bit of a weird combination if you think about it but for me it works.

When I was a kid, growing up in Denmark, I had an uncle who would eat sandwiches with smoked eel and red currant jelly. That struck me as pretty gross. My dad liked steamed cod liver (yes, the fish; yes the liver they make into that horrible oil) and thought it a delicacy.
The weirdest thing I have eaten (which actually turned out to be pretty good) was my girlfriend's jalapeno pepper and cheese pancakes... for breakfast... with maple syrup. Sounds weird, but it's REALLY good.

I love french fries dipped in a Frosty, my dad got me hooked on it when I was really small. I can't even fathom mayo on pancakes, or butter in chili. Those are just too weird for me. I did find a new odd favorite born out of a pregnancy craving. Funions (Onion ring potato chips in the yellow and green bag) with dill pickles, especially if you dip the funions in the pickle juice. I craved that while I was pregnant, but he is almost 7 months old now, and I still eat them that way. Something about the onion with the sour and the crunch all at once. My husband puts worcestershire sauce and heinz 57 sauce in pickle juice and swirls it up and drinks it. I find that pretty darn disgusting and strange. I also like to make fried potatoes and and spaghetti with meat sauce, and then mix them all together and top it with parmesan cheese and eat it that way. That one is something my mom always did. My sister loved cheese and grape jelly sandwiches when she was little. That I find really disgusting also. Writing this now, I am thinking perhaps there is some sort of taste bud disfunction in my family, LOL.
