Who would win a fight between god and the devil?, what weapons should be used?
The setting and place of battle is important aswell, any special powers that each of them will use.

Oh man, this is a tough one. Yes, there's the whole 'God is everything and all powerful!' argument, but if we look at this logically, God would have to be in a corporeal form in order to physically fight the devil. A corporeal form, by the very tenets of the Bible, is limited. So God would be limited. But so would the devil.
For weapons, let's stick with traditional weapons. Flaming sword for God, trident for the devil. Now weapon wise, the devil has an advantage. A trident against a sword is going to have an edge - a good trident wielder can easily trap a sword blade between their trident-prongs. From there it's a simple move to disarm the sword wielder. But God is older, and probably has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. On the other hand, the devil is supposedly the father of war while God is the father of peace. The devil's going to be a better warrior. But God can most likely, even in his limited capacity, heal his own body.
Setting wise, it would have to be neutral ground. No holy places, no forsaken places. No places that hold significance to either of them. I say we put them on the moon. Neither one of them has any particular dominion there. And the whole low-gravity thing wouldn't be an issue for them, I'm sure God could balance it out to be equal to Earth's. They'd be on equal footing there, neither one with an advantage over the other.
God would fight fair, the Devil would fight dirty. The devil has the tricks, the better weapon, and the experience. In just a good old fashioned Gladiator duel, I'm gonna have to say the devil would win.
....
I put way too much thought into that!

Well, if you put them on God's territory, then God's going to win. There can't be any argument there - the devil just can't call on his strength in God's domain. But if we make it an even fight, the devil's got the edge. Mainly because he's a cheating b@st@rd.
I actually think about stuff like this all the time. I have a warped mind.

God would win! God is all powerful. There is no way that the Devil would win...God made the Devil, He could easily un-make him. He could snap His fingers and the Devil would be gone. Go God!!!!!

God would win, because he has a good spirit and a good heart, wait a minute, he is the spirit and he makes our hearts, he would snap his fingers and the devil would be gone, the devil is only here to make people be as bad as they can. Go God!!!
