Favourite childhood memory

What is your favourite childhood memory? One my favourite childhood memories is one winter when I was about six years old it started snowing heavily in the evening after I'd been sent to bed. I was allowed to get up and go out and play in the snow with all my friends who were suddenly also allowed to stay up after their bedtime. What's your favourite childhood memory?

I remember one night my Dad came home from work with the great news that he'd gotten a (much needed) raise. He swept Mom up into his arms and twirled around the living room, both of them laughing and so very happy about it.
Sorry to say, there weren't a lot of those kinds of happy things happening back then.

That sounds like a wonderful uplifting memory, Scribbler. I remember at times seeing my parents being really happy and that does make a big impression on children, doesn't it?
