in what ways do you get to know people better?

what have you done to get to know people better and have a better relationship with them.
I have found that the more you know someone the better you can relate to them. what are some thing you have done to get to know someone better?
Having a conversation with them usually allows you to get to know what they like and dislike. but sometimes, I just watch and see how they relate to others, to get to know them better.You get to see their different moods and how different situations effect them.
Trust can be built I believe by just watching how they respond to others. If they treat others well then you can trust them to treat you well also. If they are honest with others they will also be honest with you. I guess I use a more cautious approach them most before I become closer friends with them.

I think by watching people and being around them you can get a good sence If you want to have a better relationship with them. If someone is funny and caring, it makes it easier to want to be closer to them. People that are not nice, I have no interest in trying to get to know them.

i agree with you it is easier to become closer to those who are funny and caring.
people can be nice to you, then be mean to others, or they can be mean to you but yet nice to others ,why do you think is it they treat others differently?
I try to be nice to all until they have treated me wrongly.
