How much television excess shoul be given to kids ...?

I beleive that parents should be strict with kids about watching TV, playing video games, ect. It tends to pull time away from them and there families, statistics show that kids that spent more times with there families had a better aspect of life and exceeded with college, schooling, majoring in very important things. I am not saying that your cousins will not be any of those things, but TV should be limited to a certain amount of time a day depending on what the parents feel necessary.
